SAFETY
OUR AWARD WINNING SAFETY PROGRAM IS SETTING INDUSTRY STANDARDS
A comprehensive safety program protects workers, keeps projects on schedule and can translate into substantial savings on a project. That's why safety has been a part of Ronsco's culture since our founding.
Our award winning, company wide safety program has enabled us achieve ZERO injuries in 2004, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021
and has helped us to recruit and
retain the most experienced
craftsmen in the industry.
We credit our success to three basic initiatives:
-
The first is to lead by example. Safety is everyone's responsibility,
and no one is exempt from our zero tolerance safety policy, including upper management.
-
Second is our weekly "Toolbox Talks". All employees review select safety issues with their foreman and then, before payroll is distributed, sign-off on the subject matter.
-
Last but not least are our ongoing safety activities, which include quarterly foreman safety meetings and bi-annual, company wide safety training sessions featuring guest speakers who focus on industry related issues.
